We're full-term and all stocked up!

It was hard for Jo Marie and I to believe that last Thursday, the pregnancy became full-term! In other words, Max's lungs are ready to go and he could potentially come at any time. With that said, Jo Marie doesn't think he will be making his debut for at least another couple weeks. We are now going to the Doctor every Monday for a check-up, and so far everything is looking great. In the past few weeks, we have been blessed with two showers, one from my friends at Douglas County Bank and one given by Jo's friends and family.

We are overwhelmed with every one's love, support, and excitement for Max's arrival. And, yes, that is a rubber duckie floating in the blue punch. Jo Marie finished grad school and helping with Nan & Pops garage sale this past week, so her entire focus now is on getting ready for baby Max! This week, she plans have the car seat installed (thanks Tracey & Alicia for pestering her) and take care of some final preparations in the nursery. Stay tuned for final pictures of the nursery! I think she may be nesting at last! We are both so excited, and we cannot believe it is almost time to meet our son.

  1. I can't believe it either! It seems like yesterday she was coming by my room at school with a barely pregnant belly and asking, "Do I look pregnant yet?" We are SO excited for you guys and can't believe it's already here!

  2. This is a dream come true for all of the Bolick clan. Guess Dad and I will need to come up with a name for our little angel to call us. I still can't believe that he is already here. The next two weeks will be the longest time with us waiting to make it out to KS. I can't amagine being able to hold our little angle in our arms for the first time. We love to death Jo Marie, and I know that she and Zak will make wonderful parents. Now Zak you will have every reason in the world to lay in the floor and play CARS as you did growing up. How blessed we are to have all three of you in oue lives. And it can't come early enough for us to board that airplane on the 30th. love and kisses to all three of you.
